On Friday, March 28, 2008 at aprrox.1330 hrs. Station 8 emptied the house for this rescue. Engine 8, Truck 8, Medic 8 and EMS 6 were all in house and responded South on Bel Air Rd./Route 1. Just past the I-695 over pass in front of the Beltway Plaza. These two gentlemen were traveling Northbound on Route 1 when they lost control of their vehicle and hit a tree. One trapped upon arrival. Victim was extricated and flown to Maryland's Shock Trauma.
